Austin is the easier of the two to get going in the morning. Ha. Maddie was bent out of shape because she had a bump on her face. It was probably a mosquito bite, you could barely see it.

Both are growing. They will soon be young adults. It's scary how time flies by. EXCEPT when you are waiting for loved ones to return home.

Another morning and all is well. They just got on the bus. Odie cried a second. He seems very content.

See you on Saturday!!

Steph - Sometimes what y'all are doing just sinks in and hits me. Lord knows we have walked the journey together but at this particular moment, I am overcome with emotion. Reading what you are witnessing and imagining how it will forever change your life is very powerful. Oh, Mr. Ricky - tell him that Tia Stacie can't wait to rub his head and go fishing with him. The boys are ready too.
So glad you got a massage - what a great price there.
I talked to Stephen this morning. He called at 6:45am. You know, we don't even get up that early for school days. Anyway, he was fine and had trouble posting again. I think we got him squared away on his troubles. Stevie has a boyfriend - did you know that? I didn't. He is 14 too. Stephen is fishing in a tournament this weekend and the weather will be in the 20's in the morning. NO THANK YOU! He's aggravated because its so late for it to still be cold. It will be cold here when you get home. Like I said, I'm ready for nice warm spring weather. Tanner -are you giving my sister enough hugs? I'm sure you are. Oh TAnner, we had corn at work yesterday. Take care!! Love y'all.

These blogs are amazing. The insight that God is giving you both - to see with His eyes, is truly blowing my mind. The description of never being in darkness, just gave me chills. Like everyone else here, I look forward to getting up and logging on the computer to see what has happened a world away. We miss you and love you. Ricky is truly blessed.

STEPH, TANNER AND OUR PRECIOUS RICKY, GOOD MORNING...ALL THE POSTS HAVE MADE ME SMILE UNTIL THE GRAPHIC DESCRIPTION OF THE STREET CHILDREN THERE. I WAS VERY SADDENED BY WHAT YOU OBSERVED. HOWEVER, THROUGH IT I CAME TO FULLY REALIZE WHAT A SPECIAL CHILD OUR RICKY IS, NOT ONLY TO US BUT TO OUR GOD. GOD HAS PROTECTED HIM FROM BIRTH, PLACING HIM IN A LOCATION WHERE HE COULD BE RESCUED, AND PLACED IN AN ORPHANGE, TO AWAIT THE TIMING FOR HIM TO BE ADOPTED BY YOU. WHAT A JOURNEY WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH...BEEN THROUGH, YET ONLY BEGINNING. I THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING ME TO BE A PART OF IT. I LOVE IT AND LOVE EACH OF YOU. TELL RICKY MIMI CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THAT BEAUTIFUL SMILE. MARGARET
